Bigs began his journey as a lighting designer in the event production industry and eventually expanded his expertise to include Flex administration. Today, he takes great pleasure in sharing his enthusiasm for process improvement and business optimization with Flex users around the globe.
Bigs finds great joy in collaborating with industry leaders to design clever products and services that have a transformative impact on businesses. Through these collaborations, he aims to deliver smart solutions that address immediate needs and unlock long-term potential.
As the Square Wave team leader, Bigs fosters a culture of constant innovation, empowering the team to seek universal solutions to common problems that Square Wave’s clients experience. In addition to addressing known challenges, he is focused on developing services which help clients to identify problems not currently known. With Bigs' guidance, the Square Wave team continuously challenges themselves to uncover hidden opportunities and develop creative ideas. By fostering a culture of exploration and continuous learning, he inspires the team to think critically and approach problem-solving with an innovative mindset.
When not growing the Square Wave business, Bigs enjoys spending quality time with his family. He also participates in various hobbies and is a man of many interests; some include gardening, VR gaming, and playing bluegrass covers of Miley Cyrus songs on the ukulele. As an extension of his background in production lighting, he collaborates with a team of Melbourne-based creatives on large-scale lighting art projects, featuring works at Burning Man, Melbourne University Makerspaces, and Vivid Festival in Sydney.
